    INTRODUCTION 

    The Got Breath? activity will teach you how to influence and control your own health and well being through The Art of Oxygenation and deep relaxation.

    Each activity has 5 steps.1.Introduction to Breathing. 2. Deep Relaxation. 3. Essentials of Breathing. 4. Complete Breathing. 5. Completion and Integration of this Got Breath? activity.

    The benefits of the Got Breath? activity are numerous.

    The Got Breath? activity contains no toxins and only positive side effects.

    The Got Breath? activity has been proven over nearly 30 years to help you achieve that level of inner peace we all instinctively seek.

    Science has proven that it takes 21 days to create a new habit. Therefore the Got Breath? activity is designed for you to utilize each day for 21 days. After participating in the 21 day program, you will have achieved the level of full bodied breather.

    The goal of the Got Breath? Program is to assist you to move from the habit of shallow breathing to the habit of full bodied breathing. I would like to take a moment to thank Dr. Andrew Weil, Director of Integrated Medicine at The University of Arizona, and International Best Selling Author.     And to quote Dr. Weil, he states “That there is no single more powerful or more simple daily practice to improve your health and well being, than breath work.”

    Dr. Weil also states that “the health you enjoy today, and for the rest of your life, begins with your next breath“. Breathing is so crucial for your bodies ability to heal and sustain itself, that if I had to limit my advise on healthier living to just one tip, it would be to simply to learn how to breathe correctly. Thank you Dr. Weil.

    Each Got Breath? Lesson/activity is a workout, for a period of 21+ minutes a day for 21 days.

    • To engage in the Got Breath? activity, it is recommended that you find a quiet place with no distractions, where you can lie down comfortably and begin the process of deep relaxation and deep breathing.

      The Got Breath? daily activity is all about the repetition of relaxation and deep breathing.

      Got Breath? is about comfort and joy.

      You are encouraged to empty your bladder so that you can remain comfortable during the 21 minute workout, take a sip of water so that your body is hydrated and have a bite to eat, so that your body is comfortable.

      It is also recommended that you prepare for the GB lesson/activity by placing a note pad and a pencil by your side, so that when you complete your 21min GB activity you can write your thoughts and feelings down, call it a journal.

      To keep track of your personal progress. It is also recommended that during your 21 day GB program, that you integrate reading on the subject of better breathing.

      I recommend authors such as, Dr. Weil, Leonard Orr, Sondra Ray, all have web sites, this will help you to understand the benefits of better breathing and help you to accelerate your own personal progress.

      Welcome to the Got Breath? Series #1.

      The 21 day workout.

      About 21 minutes a day for 21 days. It is based on repetition to create the habit of full bodied breathing.

      In order to graduate and move into the advanced series, it is required that you complete the 21 day program for 21 consecutive days.

      Now, if you are unable to participate in this activity consistently for 21 days, then by all means when ever you can participate in the activity, please do so.

      However, our goal is to train you to become a full bodied breather, and the best way to do this at an accelerated rate, is to participate in this 21 day program.

      Dr. Weil stated that “breathing is an activity that is involuntary as well as voluntary“. With this GB program you are improving the quality of your breathing voluntarily. This is an on your honor system.

      You are worthy of becoming a full bodied breather, and improving your health very easily.

      Like Dr. Weil states, “Breathing is free, it’s safe, and it is always right under your nose”.

      Welcome to Got Breath? Basic training.

      Modern Societies Missing Link to True Health.

      Got Breath? is a gradual conditioning process. And breathe…

      It is an on your honor system. It is a workout.

      Your goal is to achieve a deep level of relaxation and full bodied rhythm of breathing during this activity.

      And breathe…breathing fully and freely.

      Breathing fully and freely is the opposite of shallow breathing. And breathe…

      You are training your body to breathe in and breathe out without pause or hesitation. And breathe…

      Breathing in, breathing out.

      This exercise trains the mind that breathing fully and freely is safe and calming. And breathe

      Relaxing deeply while breathing fully and freely is the key to this exercise. And breathe…maintaining and trying to find your rhythm of breathing fully and freely.

      A relaxed body during this exercise, allows super amounts of oxygen to nourish every cell, if you let it. And breathe

      As you are breathing and bringing in greater amounts of oxygen, continue to relax, if you are feeling any particular sensation or tingling in your body, just relax and breathe through it. And breathe…

      In a safe place free of distractions, this exercise is about comfort, deep relaxation and full breathing. And breathe…

      As you are breathing, allow your body to relax more deeply. And breathe… It is a simple drill, breathing deeply, relaxing deeply. And breathe

      Our goal is to achieve a full bodied rhythm of breathing. And breathe

      And now, let us move into exercise #1, inhaling and exhaling through the nose is suggested, however, not mandatory. And breathe…Allowing your body to relax with each breath. And breathe

      Remember to keep your focus on the rhythm of the breathing, drawing in deeply on the inhale.

      Visualize filling your lungs to capacity, visualize filling your lungs with air, again visualize filling your lungs with air and then do it. And breathe

      In and out, expanding and contracting your upper body, filling your upper body with air. And breathe…

      If you are feeling a little too relaxed, put your attention on breathing, and move your breath a little faster, in and out…in and out…And breathe…

      Remembering that breathing fully and freely is safe for me now. And breathe…Breathing fully and freely is safe for me now.Breathing fully and freely is safe for me now. And breathe

      Knowing that you are in control and you are influencing your breathing. And breathe…

      Visualize filling your lungs with air and then do it, over and over and over again. And breathe…

      Breathing fully, remembering that full bodied breathing is safe for me now. And breathe…

      Oxygenating, nourishing your body, nourishing your mind, nourishing your soul. And breathe…

      Adjust your body if you need to, so that you are feeling comfortable, and let go, and breathe.

      Drawing in deeply on the inhale filling your lungs with air, and let it go. Safely breathing…

      And now, we will move on to exercise #2.

      Consider this…as you begin your next cycle of breathing, exhale first. And exhale

      Normally when we begin a cycle of breathing, we start with an inhale, but we are going to use Dr. Weil’s suggestion and practice exhaling first. Begin the cycle by exhaling first. And exhale…as you are exhaling, empty out completely and then inhale.

      We are going to do this 5 times together so at the count of 1, just exhale, haaaaaaaaaaaa, and empty out completely, and then refresh on the inhale… and then exhale completely, fully, pushing out the exhale, and then inhale…and then on the exhale, empty out your lungs…haaaaaaaaaaa…and then refresh with the inhale.

      And once again, exhale fully, and when you feel finished, empty out more…haaaaaaaaaaa, and then inhale, and one more time, exhale completely, haaaaaaaaaaaa, and then inhale.

      This is a fun exercise that you can do any time, and it helps to empty out your lungs completely to help make room to breathe in more air and oxygenate your body more thoroughly.

      And breathe…returning to a normal full bodied breathing and observe how you are feeling.

      And breathe…drawing in more air on the inhale. Increase the quantity of air you bring into your upper body. Practice this…And breathe…inhale fully, fill your lungs, fill your upper body, feel the stretch…And breathe

      Remember that this is a safe gradual conditioning program. And breathe…

      And once again, exhale fully, and when you feel finished, empty out more…haaaaaaaaaaa, and then inhale, and one more time, exhale completely, haaaaaaaaaaaa, and then inhale.

      This is a fun exercise that you can do any time, and it helps to empty out your lungs completely to help make room to breathe in more air and oxygenate your body more thoroughly.

      Take that color with you into exercise #3.

      Expanding and contracting your upper body, filling your lungs and your upper body with air. And breathe…

      Oxygenating and nourishing every cell. Allowing all of your good cells to make more good cells. And breathe…

      Oxygen feeding your body. And breathe…Oxygen feeding your spirit…and breathe

      Observe the rhythm of the breathing, how does this feel? And breathe

      Inhale and let go, inhale and let go. You and only you are in control of your breathing, you and only you are influencing your breathing. And breathe…Inhaling and exhaling. Breathing, cleansing and nourishing, all at the same time.

      Relaxing into any particular sensation you may feel in your body. And breathe…

      Resting with breath, letting all of your concerns and worries just flow away, keeping your attention and your focus on your breathing. Breathing fully and breathing freely. And breathe…

      And now we will move on to exercise #4, we will call it the Stimulating breath, this is a rapid breathing exercise.

      You will breathe rapidly through the nose for 3 cycles of 9 stimulating breaths, pause and then repeat.

      Begin, 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9, and pause.

      Again, 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9, and pause.

      Again, The Stimulating Breath 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9, and pause.

      And now, on your own, breathe rapidly through the nose as many times as you like.

      Begin 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9, and so on until you feel complete. Then pause… appreciating your body.

      Appreciating this newly added strength.

      Appreciating the vitality, feeling the body become accustomed to this exercise.

      This is a gradual conditioning program.

      Training the body to receive safely increased levels of oxygen.

      And once again, let’s go back to the stimulating breath to the count of 12.

      Inhaling and exhaling rapidly through the nose.

      Go!1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10,11,12, and pause, rest.

      Appreciating your body, it’s new strength and vitality. And breathe…

      The Stimulating breath is an exercise you can use anytime you like. To build vitality.

      And now, moving on to exercise #5, as I count from 5 to 1, you will return to the hear and now.

      There is the Law of Gratitude, represented by a beautiful cornucopia, this law is that sense of satisfaction. And breathe…when energy is given, energy is received. And breathe…

      Energy given, goes out on a curved and unequal line, and when extended far enough, returns bearing gifts to you. And breathe..

      And now as I count from 5 to 1, you will return to the here and now, in love, in harmony, in balance, full of breath, full of life, happy, alive and well.

      Now in completing this activity, simply take your time, wiggle your toes, wiggle your nose, wiggle your fingers. Allow your self to begin moving about gently. Taking a sip of water to re-hydrate, (water carries oxygen through the blood).
